Get Answers To Your Questions

What is the Difference between Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement Insurance plan?
A Medicare Advantage plan is an alternative to Original Medicare offered by private insurance companies. Depending on the plan, Medicare Advantage can offer additional benefits beyond your Part A and Part B benefits, such as routine dental, vision, and hearing services, and even prescription drug coverage.
Medicare Supplement Insurance is also offered by private insurance companies, but it is not comprehensive medical coverage. Instead, Medicare Supplement plans work alongside your Original Medicare coverage and help pay for out-of-pocket costs including copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles. Medicare Supplement plans do not include prescription drug coverage
How can I qualify for additional benefits with a Medicare Advantage Plan?

To qualify for additional benefits, you must be eligible for, or already have Medicare Part A (hospital insurance) and Medicare Part B (medical insurance) coverage.

A person must live in a plan’s service area. It should also be noted that during AEP anyone on Medicare can enroll in an MA plan, but that outside of AEP, a person must have a special election period.

Will my secondary insurance pay for my Medicare deductible and/or coinsurance?

Beneficiaries enrolled in Original Medicare may choose to enroll in a Medicare Supplement Insurance plan to help fill in the gaps in coverage. These plans help pay for certain out-of-pocket costs like deductibles, coinsurance, and copayments.”

How do I know what plan works best for my situation?
